This 1m breakaway cable from Streetwize is designed to apply the trailer’s brake in the event of an emergency, where your caravan or trailer has been unhitched during transit.

One end of the cable is attached to your vehicle and the other end is attached to the emergency brake lever underneath the trailer or caravan. If your caravan or trailer becomes unhitched, this cable will pull the lever to enable the caravan or trailer’s brake.
